The former Chief Procurement Officer at Treehouse Foods, Conagra Brands and Vanguard, Jim brings 30+ years of leadership experience in procurement, supply chain, and acquisition integration from leading food manufacturers such as Conagra, J.M. Smucker and Treehouse.
His hire reflects the continued scaling of the Saphineia platform and continued progress toward our vision of being the go-to operational partner for CEOs, operational teams and financial investors in the food and beverage manufacturing industry. We have provided details Jim’s background below:

- Proven track record of transforming procurement into a strategic value driver, delivering millions in savings, optimizing supplier performance, and leading cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and organizational growth.
- Former Chief Supply Chain Officer for Motif Foodworks, where he designed and staffed the supply chain organization, while delivering key supply chain initiatives, including implementing NetSuite ERP and standing up an Integrated Business Planning process.
- Extensive experience with M&A integration, ERP implementations, working capital optimization, and procurement transformation
- At J.M. Smucker, Jim built and led the Integration Management Office for its $5.8bn acquisition of Big Heart Pet.
- Jim began his career at Procter & Gamble, where he built foundational expertise in manufacturing procurement, supply chain strategy, and value chain optimization.
